TO REMEMBER AND BE REMEMBERED ARE NATURAL HUMAN NEEDS
A memorial is a permanent remembrance of a life lived, a place others may visit for emotional comfort. How you choose to be remembered can be as personal or traditional as you would like. The traditional cemetery site is a beautiful resting place. Carefully groomed, serenely landscaped grounds ensure a peaceful atmosphere. The continuing preservation of the grounds is assured by a secure endowment fund.
Sunset Memorial Gardens, is 70 acres of pleasingly landscaped, gently rolling hills, covered with deep green Kentucky bluegrass lawn. The garden statues, carved of genuine Carrara marble in Italy by master sculptors, are life sized art treasures honoring the loved ones who rest here. Among them are Michelangelo's incomparable "La Pieta" and Leonardo da Vinci's "Last Supper".
In addition to these beautiful surroundings Sunset Memorial Gardens offers a choice of several dedicated gardens. Our Veteran Section honors those who have served their country in the Armed Services. Our Little Lambs, a small garden and memorial, is a resting place for children. Our Catholic Gardens, Lutheran, Episcopal, and Later Day Saint areas are dedicated to different religious affiliations, and make up a portion of the available space. Private family estate areas have been set aside for those who would like a special area for their family.
Sunset Memorial Gardens has two Mausoleums with crypts, for those selecting above ground burial and beautiful glass, bronze and granite front niches for those desiring cremation. We offer pre-planning service with a one year interest free agreement. Longer term agreements are available. Please call our office for details.
